Daniel Bourré is an award-winning producer with 15 years of media experience. After a period in the financial sector he decided to abandon the briefcase and ties and follow his passion, television production. His first gig? Wrangling hamsters for TVOKids’ scripted live action series Tumbletown Tales. After proving he could handle rodents Daniel began creating original series, overseeing yearlong campaigns and conceptualizing innovative cross-platform projects for the broadcaster. Before moving on to freelance projects he enjoyed the full circle experience of directing the final two seasons of Tumbletown Tales.
Daniel is now an Executive Producer with Bristow Global Media working on linear & digital kids’ content, branded integrations and live productions. He’s worked with clients such as NBA, Disney, Adidas and Nintendo. Other credits include: Shawn Mendes Live, Kids’ Choice Awards Countdown, YTV & Teletoon Dayparts, World Cup of Hockey, Mark’s Moments and Canadian Country Music Awards. Daniel’s work has been recognized by the Canadian Screen Awards, TIFF Kids, Youth Media Alliance, Digi Awards, Prix Jeunesse International and the Commonwealth Broadcast Association. He still likes hamsters and occasionally wears ties.
