Valerie Cardinal

Valerie loves TV so much, she earned a Master’s Degree in it; more specifically, she moved to New York City to pursue an MFA in Writing and Producing for Television at LIU Brooklyn. While in New York, she also worked at Town Square Films where she produced and edited short commercial documentaries.

Valerie has a background in theatre and journalism. She stage-managed many of LIU Brooklyn’s productions and served as the theatre program director’s assistant. She’s been a theatre reviewer in Montreal, New York and Ottawa since 2011, a frequent Fringe festival volunteer and an all-around musical theatre fan. She studied Print and Broadcast Journalism at Concordia University in her hometown of Montreal, and was the Arts Editor of The Concordian.
