BGM Appoints Daniel Bourré as Executive Producer, Kids
TORONTO , CANADA (June 11, 2018) – Leading global content creation company Bristow Global Media Inc. (BGM), is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Bourré to Executive Producer, Kids. Daniel joined Bristow Global Media in 2014 as a senior producer, where he was responsible for the linear and digital kids’ content for YTV’s afterschool programming block The Zone. In this newly created role, Daniel will oversee Kids content for BGM, including the upcoming factual series It’s My Party (TVO) and YouTube channel Minty Fresh. He will work closely with the senior development team at BGM, led by VP of development Sean Connolly, VP of Content Marlo Miazga and Julie Bristow.
Daniel brings over 15 years of experience to the role. Prior to joining BGM, he was a producer at TVO for nine years, creating original kids’ series, overseeing yearlong campaigns and conceptualizing innovative cross-platform projects for the broadcaster. He also directed the final two seasons of Tumbletown Tales.
Additional producing credits include: Shawn Mendes Live, Kids’ Choice Awards Countdown, World Cup of Hockey, Mark’s Moments and Canadian Country Music Awards.
Daniel’s work has been recognized by the Canadian Screen Awards, TIFF Kids, Youth Media Alliance, Digi Awards, Prix Jeunesse International and the Commonwealth Broadcast Association.
