Bristow Global Media Inc. Signs Partnership with The CCMA® to Produce the CCMA Awards

September 9, 2015Bristow Global Media Inc. (BGM) announces a partnership with the Canadian Country Music Association® (CCMA®) to produce the CCMA Awards Show for broadcast partners CBC-TV and CMT. This year the 2015 CCMA Awards Show will broadcast on CBC-TV at 8 p.m. local time (8:30 p.m. NT) with an encore airing on CMT (Canada) at 10 p.m. ET/7p.m. PT on Sunday, September 13.

“BGM is delighted to be partnered with the CCMA and the Canadian country music community to produce this extraordinary popular live event,” said Julie Bristow, President & CEO, Bristow Global Media Inc. “We see an incredible opportunity to build engaged audiences to Canadian country music through the CCMA Awards Show.”

In addition to the live production of the television awards show, BGM and the CCMA will work together on creating the best in class sponsorship opportunities around CCMA media properties.

BGM’s Executive Producer on the CCMA Awards Show is industry veteran Claire Adams. Adams, Head of Content for BGM, has Executive Produced the CCMA Award Show in 2012 and 2013.
