Daniel Bourré is an award-winning producer with 15 years of media experience. After a period in the financial sector he decided to abandon the briefcase and ties and follow his passion, television production. His first gig? Wrangling hamsters for TVOKids’ scripted live action series Tumbletown Tales. After proving he could handle rodents Daniel began creating original series, overseeing yearlong campaigns and conceptualizing innovative cross-platform projects for the broadcaster. Before moving on to freelance projects he enjoyed the full circle experience of directing the final two seasons of Tumbletown Tales.
Daniel joined Bristow Global Media in 2014 and is the Executive Producer of linear & digital kids’ content including YTV’s #1 afterschool programming block The Zone, the factual series It’s My Partyand YouTube channel Minty Fresh. Branded integrations and live productions are also areas of focus. He’s worked with clients such as NBA, Disney, Adidas and Nintendo. His producing credits include: Shawn Mendes Live, Kids’ Choice Awards Countdown, World Cup of Hockey, Mark’s Moments and Canadian Country Music Awards. Daniel’s work has been recognized by the Canadian Screen Awards, TIFF Kids, Youth Media Alliance, Digi Awards, Prix Jeunesse International and the Commonwealth Broadcast Association.
He still likes hamsters and occasionally wears ties.
